Having worked in fashion for years, Harroop Gulati Kaur and Naaz Gulati knew how underserved plus size women were in the industry.

“We knew plus size women were starving for high quality, clean, versatile clothing that can be worn all hours of the day,” Kaur explained. “We knew we could give them a wardrobe they deserve so we created HOURS to fill this key gap in the current plus size market.”

HOURS makes fashionable, conscious clothing specialized for fuller-figured shoppers. Emphasizing on comfort and a flattering fit, they create pieces based on customers’ needs—not the needs of retailers.

“Our design process starts with market research, community engagement and customer feedback as we exist to create for our woman,” Gulati said. “We then utilize our own design sensibilities and experience to create luxe essentials with a bit of an edge.”

They also incorporate sustainability in their designs by sourcing their materials through WRAP certified suppliers, recycling fabric, and working with conscious partners.

HOURS is currently working on a new collection, as well as bringing back improved versions of some of their best sellers. They’re also partnering with other sustainable and plus sized brands to scale their mindful, body positive mission.

More about the brand can be found on their website.
